The tomb of Oscar Wilde. My good friend Lindsay overheard another visitor sum it up perfectly: "Even his grave is flamboyant."

Can someone help me here? Why is this guy holding his head? My guess is that he was unjustly beheaded.

Time is short my friends.

Paris Blogs

I recently returned from a weekend in Paris. Of course, it was a wonderful time. And of course, such a beautiful location proffers a plethora of photo opportunities. I tried hard to see the objects in front of me before I saw potential photographs. Reversing the two, at least for me, is a danger. In the end, I think photography helps me to appreciate my surroundings more than I otherwise would--for it does, after all, drive me out into the world, even if that push arises in large part from a desire to "get that photo". I must always be wary of losing the world in search of the image. The following few blogs will feature some of the images I was able to capture while in Paris. I hope you like them.
